This 2-day SMART: Direct Restorations Workshop will deliver an intensive, educational curriculum built on evidence-based protocols and premium clinical materials. Participants will master both anterior and posterior composite workflows by using the best materials, advanced matrix systems, and specialised instruments
On Day 2, the focus shifts to posterior functional durability (the SMART: way), covering complete quadrant rubber dam isolation, simplified occlusal anatomy, and large Class II cusp rebuilds. This comprehensive training blends recent dental literature with extensive hands-on typodont exercises to immediately elevate your daily clinical precision and predictability.

Course Objectives
Day 1: Anterior Composites
- Apply clinical principles of colour perception for accurate shade selection
- Perform carry out a full coverage veneer and a central incisor build-up protocol using multi-layering techniques.
- Demonstrate precise finishing and polishing for natural tooth line angles.
- Evaluate the advantages of single-shade versus multi-layering methods.
- Construct rebuild full coverage composite veneer and a complex Class IV restorations with advanced characterisation.
Day 2: Posterior Composites
- Formulate accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for posterior teeth.
- Execute quadrant rubber dam isolation for moisture control.
- Simplify posterior occlusal anatomy during restoration.
- Reconstruct natural occlusal morphology using simple anatomical lines (the SMART way).
- Execute correct cavity preparations while preserving critical cusp structures.
